Children's Ministry
Our children’s area is called The Treehouse and kids love it! There are no chairs, but lots of activities for children to enjoy. For the past several years, we have sponsored Fall Fest for families with nearly 1,000 people on our campus. With a Biblically-based curriculum and a volunteer staff that love the Lord and love children, Cowpens First Baptist offers a great place to bring your young one.
Women's Ministry
The women at Cowpens First Baptist meet on a regular basis to encourage one another through fellowship and the Word. Bible study is a central focus of the ministry. The women also offer an annual retreat for spiritual renewal and relationship building. In the past, locations for the retreats have included Pigeon Forge and Myrtle Beach.
Student Ministry
Our student ministry is led by Melissa Wyatt. Our student ministry suite features a youth meeting room, lounge and game room. We offer a high-energy, discipleship-focused outreach geared for youth. Middle school and high school age students enjoy the interaction with one another especially in small group. Our new Family Life Center offers recreation opportunities for students as well.
Senior's Ministry
Our “Young at Heart” ministry meets on the first Tuesday night of the month. A variety of activities are offered. The participants prepare a shared meal often featuring a special program. Other activities the “Young at Heart” have enjoyed include trips to the mountains, attending a dinner theater, visiting selected restaurants, and attending the Senior Follies in Anderson. If you are looking for friendly faces and new friends, please visit our “Young at Heart” events.
Music Ministry
Worship is a vital part of our DNA at CFB. We offer two different worship styles. Our traditional service meets at 9 AM on Sundays. This service features the time-tested hymns and special music. Our contemporary service, Echo, meets at 11 AM. The relaxed atmosphere features a praise band with drums, keyboard, and guitars. Singers augment the worship experience as they help lead in worship. We hope your interest in the worship arts will find a place at CFB.
Men's Ministry
The men’s ministry or “Brotherhood” meets the first Sunday night of each month. Bible study and prayer are featured, but men also have the opportunity to develop and deepen personal relationships. The men have also sponsored events such as family cookouts, ministry workdays, and a golf outing.
